With 200+ sessions, 8 sessions every hour & Live Recordings, Mania® guarantees a fun experience that will leave all attendees well-equipped to return to work on Monday.

You can earn up to 20 CECs/CEUs by attending the 3-Day convention. If you choose to attend a pre-convention certification or workshop, you can earn even more CECs/CEUs. Our Recorded sessions also provide 20+ CECs.

CEC/CEU forms will be provided electronically after the event. You will be asked to complete an event survey. After you complete the survey, you will be taken to a page to download the CEC/CEU Form for Mania®. The form will be signed and you will have to tally the totals for your CECs/CEUs on the third page of the form. The CECs/CEUs expire after two years from the date of the conference. Recorded sessions also offer CECs. Please make sure to save an electronic copy for your records. You may also wish to print a copy and take a photo of it. There is a $35.00 replacement fee for any misplaced forms.

Yes you can! If you’ve registered for our In-Person event, you can only make changes to your session selections onsite.
Every registered attendee will receive a confirmation email. The convention receipt can be found in the body of the confirmation email. All event receipts and educational product costs can be deducted for tax purposes. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folders, as often our emails end up there.

Enjoy over 200+ hours of recordings for just $1 per day for 60 days! With the ALL ACCESS registration option, you can leisurely review the sessions at your own pace. For only $1 per day, you gain access to all the sessions from Rooms A, B, D, E, F, G & H, ensuring you don’t miss a single moment of the action-packed weekend. Look for the video icon on the session pages to identify the sessions that have been recorded.

Please remember to bring the following items to the convention:

  • Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID.
  • Signed copy of the convention consent form included in your event confirmation email.
  • Shoes and a change of clothing.
  • Food for sustenance throughout the day.
  • Notebooks and pens for taking notes.
  • Notebook, computer, or iPad for accessing outlines and notes.
  • Money for shopping in the expo!


Upon check-in, you will receive an admission wristband, badge, and lanyard. As a Mania® Convention attendee, you will also be provided with a bag containing the daily schedule and convention map. Remember to bring your session outlines, which can be accessed at www.scwfit.com/Dallas/outlines as they will not be provided on-site.

There are places to change and/or shower between classes in the fitness center or in the Aquatics area.

Session PowerPoints and outlines will not be provided in the classrooms. All materials will be available at www.scwfit.com/POWERPOINTS one week prior to the start of MANIA®, allowing attendees to download them to an electronic device (smartphone or tablet) or print them in advance. Materials will remain available online for 30 days after the convention closes to help you retain this important educational information.

CEC/CEU Credits per Individual 75-minute Session:

SCW = 1.25

ACE = 0.125

AFAA = 1.0

ACSM = 1.25

AEA = 1.5 (lecture sessions) and .75 (activity sessions)

NASM = 0.1

If your certification agency is not listed, SCW will help you petition the CECs with your certifying body. Please email registration@scwfit.com for assistance.

Upon completion of a pre-convention certification or workshop, you will receive a CEC/CEU form. CEC/CEU amounts are dependent on the pre-convention certification or workshop that you enroll in during MANIA®.
Thursday is a Pre-Convention day because it occurs before the 3-day MANIA® weekend event, which begins on Friday and runs through Sunday. This allows SCW to offer full and half-day certifications where the instructors can give thorough, one-on-one time with the attendees, contributing to a valuable educational experience.

Your SCW certification is valid for two years. Please note the following steps that are required to renew your certification:

  • Please visit www.scwfit.com/certification-renewal
  • Submit 20 hours of continuing education credits from courses you attend after your certification’s renewal date
  • You can obtain CECs from a SCW Approved Provider. Please visit www.scwfit.com/scwproviders to view the list of approved providers. If you have obtained more than 20 credit hours, extra hours do not carry over into the next period
  • SCW recognizes other courses taken through all accredited colleges and universities. Academic courses relating to the field of fitness such as leadership, teaching skills, fitness management, nutrition, research, anatomy, physiology, exercise programming, and others can be applied towards your SCW Certification renewal.
  • When submitting your renewal application include your CEC information and the renewal fee of $55 per certification
  • A $20 late fee will be assessed if you choose to renew your certification after the expiration date
  • If you do not renew within six months of your certification’s expiration date, you can apply for an extension at a cost of $75 www.scwfit.com/certification-extension . If you don’t apply for an extension you will forfeit your certification and will have to retake the course in order to re-certify. You will be able to do this by completing an online certification or by attending a live training at one of our MANIA® events.
  • Due to state and facility CPR requirements, SCW no longer requires a copy of your CPR card.
  • Because every state requires CPR to teach and train, SCW no longer needs to require a copy of your CPR card.

Recordings FAQs

Recorded sessions refer to workshops being filmed LIVE at Mania®. On the other hand, Pre-Recorded sessions are carefully chosen from prior Mania® events. They are the top-attended Mania® workshops and lectures selected from current events on a wide array of current topics, led by your favorite presenters. Both Recorded and Pre-Recorded sessions are available to view after the event for $1 per day. SCW utilizes our own video camera systems and dedicated staff members for quality production purposes.

Enjoy 200 workshop & lecture recordings for 60 days at $1 per day at your leisure ($60 total). Look for the camera icon on the schedule for the sessions that are being recorded. You can either purchase this option for $399 (pay only $339 when you register before the Early Bird deadline) or add it to your existing live (in-person) event registration for $60. www.scwfit.com/atlanta/register.

When you add-on or purchase the 200 Recorded Sessions you will gain access 2 weeks after the close of the event. You then have 60 days to watch the recordings at your leisure. On the Recordings Access Page, you can automatically download and print your CEC/CEU Form. Please save your CEC/CEU Form as there is a $35 replacement fee.

Whether you attend the IN-PERSON or RECORDED Mania® you receive the same 20 hours of CECs.

You will receive your CEC form once you are logged in to view your recordings by clicking on the “Get Your CECs” button. The CEC Form will be available for 60 days only. Remember to download, print and save your CEC Form since there is a $35 replacement fee after the 60 days.
